CRYOLAB
Cryolab is a company specialised in the management of services centred on biological samples and medicinal products. Established in January 2012 as a spin-off by the School of Medicine of the Tor Vergata University of Rome, it has been a member of the SOL Group since 2015.
About Us
Cryolab is highly specialised in the management of all stages of the life cycle of biological samples and medicinal products, and guarantees the highest standards of quality and safety required by international legislation.
Cryolab operates at 3 hubs situated in Rome, Pavia and Vicenza, all equipped with highly innovative facilities and staff qualified in the operational management of processes for the storage, traceability and transport of biological samples, monitored 24 hours a day, all year round, by fully automated systems.
The Rome site, situated in an area of the Tor Vergata University of Rome, also has next generation laboratories for cell manipulation in controlled contamination areas operating with positive and negative pressures, in compliance with the requirements laid down in the euGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
Services and Products
Cryolab offers services dedicated to third party storage of biological samples or in case of a Disaster Recovery Plan. It also has laboratories for cell manipulation in controlled contamination areas in compliance with the GMP (Good Manifacturing Practice) requirements, and provides services for the transport of samples/medicinal products and environmental monitoring and sanitisation activities.

The SOL Group, the European leader on the medicinal gas market, dedicates its ISO 9001:2015 certified CryoManagement service to the design, turnkey construction and management of cryobiology rooms, in compliance with international accreditation standards.
